Le altre razze italiane impiegate nella ricerca del tartufo sono il bracco e lo spinone. Tra quelle straniere ricordiamo il pointer...

Ho cercato sia in rete che sul sito dell'American Kennel Club, ma credo che ci sia una gran confusione in giro. Talvolta sia lo spinone che il bracco vengono indicati come Italian Pointer (o addirittura Segugio, che non credo sia esattamente lo stesso). Si tratta però di due razze diverse. Vedi

There are synonyms and you can use vernacular names in italian. Names can differ according to international club (FCI, AKC, etc.). You can use pointer as synonym of "Pointing Dog".
