Spanish term

unión libre

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general) Informe de visita domiciliar - Mexico

Thanks in advance!

Discussion

In Australia we do not have a common law marriage under common law as in other countries. An unmarried couple living together (union libre) is known as a de facto relationship
Henry Hinds May 2, 2006:

Yes, this seems to be it: common-law marriage.

Was only getting hits for France and Quebec, but have found some:

in the example given it would be odd to talk about "common law marriage"

Nonmarital Union / de facto union / cohabitating relationship

As per Rebecca Jower's lexico, 4. Uniones de hecho (Nonmarital Union).

CMJ_Trans's answer of cohabiting definitely works for the text above, but I thought of adding other functional equivalents
