This is a game developper's guide. So it may refer to seek time.
Is it OK to use 'シーキング' as a translation ?

I also think “seeking” here is referring to the seek time during the game loads other packages. So to make it sound clear to readers, I would put “シークタイム,” or “シーク処理” would also do in this case.

agree Kurt Hammond : i would use シーク処理 in this case (because they don't specifically refer to reducing seek TIME). :-)
