coagulation disorder

or bleeding disorder.

"blood" is redundant

Note that "coagulation failure" is not wrong - indeed it is an ICD-10 category http://ccforum.com/content/8/4/R180/table/T2 but I wouldn't use the term in this particular context.

Adam, "coagulation failure" sounds very "administrative" to me - it is not a term doctors generally use.

Note also that in most instances, "coagulation disorder" is taken to mean "bleeding disorder", although as David correctly points out, thrombosis can also be due to a coagulation disorder.
Note from asker:
Hi Sue. Thanks for your answer. I just wanted to ask, why would you not use "coagulation failure" here? Thanks again!
Peer comment(s):

agree Noni Gilbert Riley : I was expecting "failure", working along from "insuficiencia renal", but as usual take your word on it. Particularly because failure is the worst case scenario.

bleeding disorders

I would definitely go for bleeding disorder, as coagulation disorder may be confused with thrombosis, whereas this is clearly a clotting failure.

neutral liz askew : Hmm ... couldn't you have a bleeding disorder without having a coagulation disorder??

I don't think so, but a "insuficiencia de coagulación" would definitely be a bleeding disorder: haemophilia A or B, thrombocytopenia, von Willebrand's disease, etc.
