Spanish term
visiones cruzadas
Spanish to English
Tech/Engineering
Architecture
"Buscando la continuidad con la actuación de residencias del sector vecino... evitando las visiones cruzadas y poco amables con la biblioteca que no benefician ninguno de los dos programas". Part of a proposal for reforming the old centre of a town. Because it mentions the "two programmes", perhaps "cruzadas" means contrasting rather than crossed or exchanged?

Sounds to me like it's talking about avoiding con conflicting approaches which will be detrimental to other elements.
Example sentence:
And we will thereby avoid conflicting approaches which will benefit neither programme.

How about 'crossed words and conflicting opinions' - along the lines of eski's suggestion? - just another option - because on reflection 'crossed swords' is perhaps not the best translation of this - cheers L :)
