Ich übersetze gerade Leistungsnachweise ("Scheine"), die von einer geisteswissenschaftlichen Fakultät (DE) ausgestellt wurden. Es handelt sich um benotete Scheine. Am Ende steht:

That's my understanding of the German.
In today's system we might say "credits are recognized in the following area" or "credits are awarded in the following area". That is the kind of language that universities (at least in the US) would be looking for in a transcript.

: if it's associated with a formal qualification, you could say 'awarded for academic achievement in the following area:'. US schools want to see credits, but if the report describes the course load and grading system, they should be able to work it out.

Thanks, Ken. I suppose someone might ask "awarded what? Special mention on the dean's list?" It's unclear to me if this is part of a document that includes a description of the course load and grading system, or merely a series of "Scheine".
