12. MILESTONE PAYMENTS: Unless otherwise provided in Seller's written quotation, periodic milestone payment shall be made by Buyer when the price of the Goods exceeds XXX. In such cases, invoices shall be issued by Seller and paid by Buyer based on the following milestones:

Definición de "milestone payment": the contract provides for payment to be made upon certain events being achieved. These payment provisions are known as stage or milestone payments and require the principal to make payment upon the builder achieving the stage or milestone specified in the contract.
