Hi all,

From the description of a Master’s Degree in Project Management offered by a Spanish university. I obviously don’t have any problem with the meaning here, it’s the structure of the sentence I can’t seem to nail because of the rather awkwardly placed text in brackets between “tipología” and “cultura”.

I’d be interested in hearing how you would handle this.

Here’s the context:

“Los estudiantes serán capaces de desarrollar metodologías propias de integración de las técnicas y herramientas - Gestión de Alcance, Tiempo y Coste, Gestión de la Cadena de Valor, Gestión de Riesgos e Incertidumbres - generalmente utilizadas en la Dirección de Proyectos con las habilidades en ámbitos como: Liderazgo, Negociación, Trabajo en equipos multidisciplinares, Comunicación.

Los estudiantes serán capaces de dirigir proyectos multidisciplinares, evaluando opciones y alternativas, incluyendo en dicha valoración consideraciones tanto de eficiencia como de sostenibilidad o responsabilidad social y que impliquen la colaboración de organizaciones de distinta tipología (administración, empresas, centros de investigación, organizaciones no gubernamentales,..) y cultura.”

Explanation:
I would change the structure of the sentence and get rid of the parenthesis:

"the collaboration of different types of administrative, business, research center and non-government organizations with different cultures."

I believe this says the same thing in a less jumbled manner.
