It's impossible to tell which word would be most suitable without knowing the nature of this "travesía". If it involved crossing a stretch of water (from the UK to France, from Europe to America, even from Montevideo to Buenos Aires...), then "crossing", but not all "travesías" are crossings; it can mean any "viaje por mar o por aire". You wouldn't call it a "crossing" if it didn't involve going from one side of something to the other, for example from New York to Miami by sea, though that might be called a "travesía". |
