"ein Tool zur Analyse der Daten im Werbekosten- und Unternehmens-Controlling"
I am in a kind of jiffy out here. I know very well that "Werberkosten" should be advertisement costs, but since the text given here speaks about a lot of relative costs, can I use the term "Marketing Costs" in lieu of "Advertyisement Costs". Would it sound correct? Since I believe that advetisement cost are anyways a part of the marketing costs.
Do give your opinion. How would you translate it?

I agree with your line of thought, Merlin....and would stick to the overall meaning rather than the exact word!!

Comment: "Dear all,
thanks a lot for your answers. It would be foolish on my part to say, who was most accurate. Actually everybody was correct in their approach to the question, in many contexts I have translated this term as "Advertisement Costs" itself, however, this time it was somewhat different, as I have already mentioned the costs, which were mentioned in the text, transgressed into other fields and needed a different translation, in fact, the client appreciated the approach and the term "Marketing Costs" as they portrayed the exact meaning in the given context.
I thank you all once again for the help.
Merlin"

advertising costs
"Advertising" sounds a little better to me than "advertisment" when placed next to "costs". "Advertising expenditure" might also work. I think it should be fine to stick with "advertising", but maybe someone else will know better. "Costs of advertising" would be another way to phrase it.

I think costs an expenses are probably equally as good; it comes down to personal preference. Anyway, thanks Aniello, and hi yourself.
