Any ideas on how best to translate the phrase "manopola di regolazione a scatto"? I have ONLY this phrase, but the client has explained that this is a "dial" on a toaster to regulate the degree of toasting which "non ruota in modo uniforme ma a scatti sulle posizioni corrispondenti ai vari gradi di tostatura".
