I am working on a translation assignment and I encountered the following expressions:
- produce of
- produced in
I understand the slight difference between the two but I am wondering what to do when translating them into Italian:
use 2 different forms "prodotto del/dell'/della"(for produce of) and "prodotto in" (for produced in).

The main difference is between PRODUCE and PRODUCT, more than between OF and IN
Produce is a generalized term for a group of farm-produced crops and goods, including (but not limited to) fruits and vegetables (i.e. meats, grains, oats, etc. are sometimes considered as produce.). More specifically, the term "produce" often implies that the products are fresh and generally in the same state as where they were harvested.
So while produce of refers to something that has been grown in that country,
"product in" is something that is been produced in a specific country but the raw material might be from another country. I.e. an orange juice produced in Italy with oranges from Spain. That would be prodotto in Italia but not prodotto italiano.
