English term

running

Non-PRO English to French Other Transport / Transportation / Shipping
Hello

I am not sure with the translation fo the verb running here:
An early morning service running between West Croydon and London Victoria.
Is it ''fonctionner''? or is there a more appropriate verb?
thanks

agree Tony M : Yes, that's exactly the right term in this specific context!
