Dutch term

Bewust belonen

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
Does anyone have a translation from Dutch to English for 'bewust belonen'? This is for an HR manual, a remuneration policy document to be precise.
Proposed translations (English)
3 +1 individualised performance-related pay

@Asker You're welcome :-). This seems to be one of those cases in which ideally the end client should have the final say about the most suitable (i.e. their preferred) translation or at least provide some kind of definition/explanation of the meaning of the term bewust belonen in this specific context, unless this is already clearly specified in the document as such.

Thanks for the suggestion Kitty. I agree with Tina that 'individualised' is superfluous, particularly given that it is indeed a title, Phil Goddard. Although 'performance-related' doesn't reflect the 'bewust' exactly, it's better than 'conscious remuneration' or anything like that!
writeaway Jun 23, 2015:
Agree with philgoddard We need to see more context in order to avoid having to guess

Is it the title of the document? If not, could we have a few sentences of context as requested when you posted this question? Thanks!

@Asker: this might be too narrow a translation. See my note above and my comment in the D-box.
Note from asker:
I think performance-related pay without the individualized is better for a title.
Peer comment(s):

agree Tina Vonhof (X) : I think 'individualised' is superfluous: performance is already an individual thing.

Thanks, Tina. I guess it all depends on the way this term/concept is used in asker's source text. For instance, in the document on bewust belonen referred to above, individual employees' pay is linked to competencies, motivation and results.
