Articles of Association
I am translating Articles of Association for a British company.
I was provided a short glossary by my client, with the word "directors" to be translated as "dirigeants".
This looks wrong to me (particularly since there is mention of "directors' meetings", 'chairman in a directors meeting' , voting procedures, etc.
I think the correct term should be 'administrateurs'. Unless 'directors' in British companies could be a position such as manager or active officer in the company.
I don't think the glossary was provided by the client. It is also too late now to contact the project manager, so I don't know what to do.
I don't really want to use a wrong term in my translation.
Any ideas?
thank you!!
