Unnatural linkage in source The real problem here in the source text is that it strikes me as unnatural to link *providing* something concrete and practical (i.e., information and training), and that presumably all attendees will benefit from, with *providing* something that is psychological and largely intangible, and that presumably only few wiil benefit from i.e., awards and recognition).

To appreciate how odd this is, consider the following sentence:

XYZ will be providing news, information, and awards to attendees at its annual convention.

The translator is under no obligation to replicate this unnatural linkage in a translation. Hence my suggestions.
