Turdimurod Rakhmanov Sep 6, 2017:
To The Misha:
Coca-Cola разлилась на покрытие means Coca-Cola is not functioning any more, now floor coating manufacturer moved to that facility to produce floor coating. Здесь поэтому, разлилась на покрытие а не в бутылки!
Turdimurod Rakhmanov Sep 6, 2017:
It should be in the past:
Coca-Cola bottled on floor and Coke replaced with Floor
Coca-Cola canned on floor
OR, if we want to use the shortest one,
Bottle replaced with floor
Coke is like water - uncountable.

When the Coke hits the floor

or "Coca-Cola hit the floor"
заголовок коммерсантовской школы с многослойным каламбуром, так что перевод не имеет смысла, надо транскриэйтить
Peer comment(s):

agree Jack Doughty : Based on "when the s*** hits the fan". Very good!

neutral Turdimurod Rakhmanov : good version, but without "the" article would be better

no use crying over spilt Coke

This is the direct analogue of "crying over spilt (spilled) milk."
Native speakers will recognize the analogy immediately.

cry over spilled milk. to express regret about something that has already happened or cannot be changed: Yes, we made a mistake, but there's no point in crying over spilled milk.

Another version could be crying over spilt Coke . After all, Coca Cola lost the manufacturing site/facilities to another company.

Coca-Cola bottles on floor/Coke spills on floor/Floor replaced with Coke

Coca-Cola bottles or bottled (pours out, poured out) on floor/Coke spills on floor/Floor replaced with Coke
Надо учесть, что здесь перевод заголовок, поэтому артикль и вспом. глаголы не нужны
Coca Cola bottled (poured out) on floor/Coke spilled on floor/Floor replaced Coke

This is news headline so no need to use article and auxiliary verbs etc.
