as manifold as they're promising Explanation: software uses are as manifold as they're promising -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 11 mins (2019-11-16 15:38:36 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Can you repost your "Denken Sie, steigern Sie und erreichen Sie" question? I have a few ideas for that one, too. |

The webinar software can be used almost anywhere/any way you like – and it's sure to be a success. Explanation: I think there are innumerable ways to translate this, but this is my suggestion. I always think that the "so...wie" structure is quite hard to translate idiomatically in English, and as it's not necessarily carrying a huge amount of intrinsic meaning here, I'd be tempted to restructure the whole phrase. I'm also a bit wary of "application" for "Einsatz" in an IT context unless we're really talking about apps, but that might be just a pet foible of mine! (I'm not hugely sure about your suggestion of "rewarding" in this context, which sounds a little odd to me here) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 21 mins (2019-11-16 15:48:20 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- For clarity, I'd suggest picking either "anywhere you like" or "any way you like", depending on the broader context - not both! |
