incentive, adj. and n.
A. adj.

Sofi_S (asker) Jul 26, 2020:
Sofi_S (asker) Jul 26, 2020:

It's only google, don't shoot it.

In my practice I adhere to the principle: 'The client is always right unless totally wrong'.
Sofi_S (asker) Jul 26, 2020:
Boris Shapiro Jul 14, 2020:
The way I see it, a prize is something you win in a competition with other people, not something you get in a one man (laboratory) race.
Turdimurod Rakhmanov Jul 14, 2020:
Incentive prize. or incentive award

Incentive bonus

neutral The Misha : It's actually the other way around: a bonus is something everyone expects by the end of the year. An award is something you have to win, and thus it is very, very uncertain and usually not expected.

agree Natalia Potashnik : awarded an incentive bonus

neutral Boris Shapiro : The дело говорит.

OED: bonus, A., n, 1. A payment, reward, or prize; esp. an additional or one-off payment for work done or a service performed; a sum of money or other benefit offered as an encouragement or inducement... OED online?
