Consultation report
Hi all,
I've come across this term a few times in the physical examination section of a consultation report for a patient with suspected arthritis. I've seen other threads discussing the same abbreviation but they don't seem to fit this particular context so I would appreciate your opinions. Here are the full sentences:
"DP en ambas muñecas con posible sinovitis y disminución de rango articular en la derecha con leve atrofia de interóseos en esa mano. DP en 2a y 3a MCF D con leve HS. DP en 2a y 3a MCF I con leve hipertrofia sinovial y 2, 3a y 5a IFP izdas. Caderas y rodillas libre. Dolor en tobillos con las lateroflexiones sin inflamación. DP en últimas MTF en ambos pies."
Could be "Doppler poder" though there is no mention of the patient having an ultrasound in the additional tests section, only chest and hand x-rays.
The report was issued in Spain and the target audience is in the UK.

Cómo bien dices, hay varios significados para DP cómo diagnóstico principal, pero no encaja... La última frase de tu texto podría ser, por ejemplo, dolor punzante en últimas articulaciones metatarsofalangicas (MTF) en ambos pies. Just an idea....
