Hi there,
I have a literary text which involves a daughter answering questions about her mother. However, I'm stuck with the meaning of solo que here, given the Sí answer.
- Hablando de Dios, ¿son ustedes muy Católicas?
- Sí, solo que yo soy practicante.
Is it more "Yes, but I'm the only practising Catholic", or is it "Yes, just that I'm a practising Catholic". Or is it something else??
Thank you in advance!!

Yes, however, I am the only one...
Discussion
Yes. Except that I'm a practitioner.
Best of luck!
In other words, your interpretation ("Yes, but I'm the only practising Catholic") is right.
