Así que voy con describir las ideas como total nonsense. Si el contexto fuese más informal, quizas total bullshit (USA) o total bollocks (UK). En este sentido Nonsense = Tontería o Disparate.

Creo que está muy claro:

Estamos hablando de un Chef que inventa "tonterías" (nonsense) con el afán de hacerse interesante.
Definitivamente, son las "ideas" locas que el locutor está criticando, y no la receta.
