English term or phrase: Visiting yacht nights
I tried hard, but I really don't understand the meaning of "yacht nights" in this sentence:
"Cornwall has around 5,000 moorings and is home to thousands of boat owners and hosts between 35 - 45,000 visiting yacht nights every year"

35 à 45 000 voiliers passant une nuit au mouillage par an

Explanation:
I think it means the yachts rent a mooring space for the night as opposed to day mooring alone.

visiting yacht nights
nuitées bateau/yacht

Explanation:
I think they mean "a one night stay/stop of the yacht". In hotels, the number of beds occupied during a period of time is called “nuitées”. Maybe it will work here too.

“… et accueil entre 35 000 et 45 000 nuitées bateau/yacht par année.

I would like to bring to everybody’s attention that the text quoted by Marion Feildel says:
« 27 797 bateaux de passage pour 85 885 nuitées » and NOT « 85 885 nuitées pour 27 797 bateaux de passage »

and that’s all the difference.
