Balázs vállaszában helyesen szerepel a fuel fordítása: atomerőművek esetén a fűtőanyag a megfelelő. A campaign azonban másra utal.

A "campaign" szó jelentésének megállapítása a következők alapán lehetséges:

1. The Commission is aware of the allegations concerning the nuclear fuel elements used at the Kozloduy nuclear power plant (NPP) and has been in contact with the Bulgarian Nuclear Regulatory Agency (NRA) and the NPP operator.

2. In the absence of binding EU legislation on nuclear safety, this issue falls within the competence of the national nuclear safety authorities. The Commission, however, made contact with the Bulgarian Nuclear Regulatory Agency (NRA) in order to receive information on this issue. According to the information received by the Commission, the problem is probably due to software that was not fully adapted for this new type of fuel. A software upgrade was due to be installed by the end of October 2008. Once in operation for a certain period of time, it can be verified whether the deviation in the observed length of the fuel campaign and in the burn up of the fuel has disappeared.
