Explanation:
"Chegar no comboio da batata" é uma expressão idiomática que os brasileiros provavelmente não conhecem e que talvez muitos poucos portugueses também a desconheçam.
Significa chegar atrasado, num comboio que, pelo peso da batata que vai lá dentro, demora a chegar ao destino ao ponto de se atrasar muito, mas com alguma graciosidade.
