English term
NR Courses (American High Schools)
English to Spanish
Social Sciences
Education / Pedagogy
Hello,
I'm translating an Academic Transcript from USA. "NR" appears after some of the subjects. As far as I know, NR Courses are those that will not be computed in the class rank. This option, according to my sources, is designed to offer students the opportunity to take a course, usually unrelated to their major, without risking a negative impact on their GPA.
If this is true, I understand the concept but I am not able to explain it in Spanish. Is there an acceptable equivalent in Spanish?
Thanks

materias/asignaturas NC
I hope this helps!

I'm not sure why another prozian who made this suggestion earlier did not post it.

Note from asker:

Note from asker:
NR=NO RECORD (subject, course, etc...) |

SUBJECT + NR + GRADE (even A+).
Maybe an explanation such as "calcificación no computada en la nota media"?
No Record (NR)
The NR (No Record) grade is assigned by a faculty member for course or project work for which credit has not been earned [...]
The NR grade does not appear on the students' transcripts or grade reports, nor is it used in the calculation of satisfactory academic progress
