Det forekommer i en engelsk historietext som jag ska oversatta. Hur skulle man oversatta den har titeln?
En ytterligare fraga: Var shogun en titel som delades med andra, eller kunde det bara finnas en shogun i taget?

a very Japanese thing which therefore I would not translate, although you can give it the meaning of WARLORD.

PS: I lived in Shogun country for several years.

tak, Mats. But "military leader" is a bit too contemporary. On the times of the Shoguns, they were Warlords.
