Asker: Thanks, Lingua.Franca - Your argument is valid, but in my text "sustainability" and its derivatives are used quite frequently, and I suspect that my client might want this term to be translated with different words. However, had this not been the case I would certainly have used "sustainable" - it would indeed have conveyed the meaning here.
