Look at the google images. The colour is obviously not standard but "olive green" is close. "Withered green" gives everything (almost) except colours on google and doesn't really sound attractive (which) I suppose it should do...

thanks for your help, Douglass - I went with 'muted green' in the end. I managed to find an image of the painting in question and this seemed to fit the context
