Russian term

Карта слезу любит

Russian to English Art/Literary Games / Video Games / Gaming / Casino Gambling
There's little context, I think this is the name of a 'chapter' in a computer game.

I can't find an equivalent phrase in English. Has anyone come across something like it?

Discussion

The Crying Game is a 1992 thriller film written and directed by Neil Jordan. The film explores themes of race, gender, nationality, and sexuality against the backdrop of the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

More context Sorry for the delay, I have realised that the title "Карта слезу любит" refers to a chapter in the computer game, where the main character has to find mermaid tears to lift a curse on a deck of cards. This complicates matters as the word "слеза" is actually important here.

As an option, though it has connotations with a film about the Troubles of the same name (which appeared decades after the original song)

but this is just my interpretation, not the exact equivalent.
Note from asker:
Anzhelika, I loved this option, but unfortunately, once I realised that I needed to mention tears or crying in the title, it didn't really work anymore.

Cards like tears

"Cards like tears" (Карта слезу любит). A mock superstition: decrying your own cards or whining about your bad luck is supposed to bring you luck.

Depending on the exact context (or in different contexts), one can have:
squeaky wheel gets the oil/grease,
Crying baby gets the milk
