This is the name of a series produced in the 80s by an Argentine artist:

En 1987 su obra Paso del soldado obtuvo el primer premio de Pintura en el LXXXVI Salón Nacional.

There are a bunch of hits on google for the term, which makes me think it might refer to something specific...just not sure what!

This is about the painter; http://www.arteba.com.ar/08-09-10/es/acciones/esyv/biografia... The title is more likely to refer to the place, as patinba says.
