IETT show a clear commitment to enhance the safety of their people and customers. This becomes evident at the different premises where state of the art safety technologies are installed, personal protective equipment is provided for everybody and clear safety rules are defined and enforced even for sub- contractors working in the bus depots and workshops. These measures were defined, implemented and supported by the consistent use of ISO certifications and are driven by a strong health and safety department that gets the necessary resources and management support. The employees of IETT are comprehensively aware of occupational safety as an important issue and live it as a self-evident fact. This is also proven by the positive trend of the accident rate.
