Source text - Arabic قبل مليون سنة، وقبل أن يظهر الأنسان على وجه البسيطة كانت عدن وعدن الصغرى تمتازان ببراكيين عنيفة جدا. وفترة المليون سنة التي هي مدة طويلة جد للانسان الذي يطول عمره الى السبعين عاما، هذه المدة إذا قورنت بعمر الأرض فإنها ستعتبر قطرة في محيط، لآن عمر الأرض هو أربعة ألاف وخمس مائة مليون سنة . ولهذا السبب عينه فإن أية صخور تكونت أثناء المليون سنة الماضية فإن علماء طبقات الأرض يسمونها الصخور الحديثة، وكثير من تاريخ النشاط البركاني محفوظ في الصخور التي انتجتها.
و"كاراكاتو" جزيرة صغيرة تقع بين سومطرة وجاوة في اندنوسيا، فقد انفجرت براكينها في عام 1883 وكان الأنفجار أكبر انفجار بركاني سجله علماء طبقات الأرض في العالم. وإذا قارنا "كاراكاتو" بعدن و بالأخص بعدن الصغرى، فإن انفجارات هذه الجزيرة البركانية تعد نسبيا لا شىء امام انفجارات عدن وعدن الصغرى البركانية في الماضى السحيق. وتسجيلات النشاط البركاني في هذه المنطقة محفوظ في عدن نفسها ومع ان عدن الصغرى متشابهة في كل نواحيها الرئيسية فهناك قليل من البراكين الباقية. ولهذا السبب فإنه من المحتمل أن عدن الصغرى هي أقدم من عدن بركانيا. إذ أن الإنفجارات البركانية وقعت في عدن الصغرى قبل أن تقع في عدن نفسها.
Translation - English Million years ago before human beings appearance on the earth, Aden and little Aden were characterized by very violent volcanoes. And the period of a million year is a very long time for a human being, who may live to be seventy years old. “This period, is considered as a drop in the ocean, when compared with the age of the earth”. Since the age of the earth is “four thousands five hundred million years”. So any rocks formed during the last million years, are considered “new formed rocks”, by geologist. If we apply this theory, then, Aden Volcanoes are new volcanoes, and a lot of the volcanoes’ history has been preserved in the resulted rocks.
Krakatau is a small island between Sumatra and Java in Indonesia. In the year 1883, its volcanoes erupted, and they were the biggest eruption recorded by geologists, in the world. If we compare “Krakatau” with Aden and specifically with Little Aden, then the eruptions of those volcanoes is relatively nothing in comparison to Aden and Little Aden eruptions in the distant past. Records of volcanoes activities in this area have been preserved in Aden itself, and although Little Aden is similar in all respect, there are few volcanoes remained. For this reason, Little Aden volcanoes are probably older than those of Aden. “Thus, the volcanic eruption had occurred in Little Aden before it occurred in Aden itself.”
