Through exhibitions, active science and learning programmes, the Natural History Museum works to unravel how our planet works and share that knowledge with as many people as possible. We look after 70 million specimens behind the scenes, researched by 300 scientists specialising in moths to malaria, dodos to dandelions. We also create inspiring and compelling exhibitions. These tell the stories of our planet, exploring its history and the life that depends on it. More than three million visitors from around the world visit us every year, millions more through our website and events.
This exhibition is one of the most popular we produce. Visitors come to see breathtaking imagery, but also to understand some of the threats faced by our planet’s animals and plants. Understanding and finding ways of conserving Earth’s biodiversity is at the heart of the Museum’s work. This exhibition is one way to share that mission with others.

Através de exibições, programas de aprendizagem e ciência activa, o Museu de História Natural trabalha para decifrar como funciona o nosso planeta e partilhar esse conhecimento com o maior número de pessoas possível. Cuidamos de 70 milhões de espécimen atrás dos bastidores, pesquisas são efectuadas por 300 cientistas especialistas em espécies desde traça até malária, dodó ate dente-de-leão. Criamos exibições envolventes e inspiradoras. Estas exibições contam a história do nosso planeta, exploram a sua história e a vida de que dele depende. Mais de três milhões de visitantes de todos os países visitam-nos todos os anos, e milhões mais através do nosso site e eventos.

O XXX de Alcochete está a oferecer nos meses de Julho, Agosto e Setembro, transporte diário gratuito a todos os turistas que visitam a cidade de Lisboa e que pretendem fazer compras neste centro que é o maior Outlet da Europa.
O XXX Free Shuttle, que irá fazer quatro viagens diárias entre o Marquês de Pombal e Alcochete, é uma iniciativa inovadora do XXX e insere-se na sua recente campanha de marketing, apostando no segmento de turismo. A promoção deste serviço gratuito será feita nas unidades hoteleiras, postos de turismo entre outros suportes.
O XXX de Alcochete pretende com mais esta iniciativa proporcionar novas experiências aos seus visitantes, nomeadamente a travessia da provavelmente mais bela ponte da Europa, a Ponte Vasco da Gama. | Translation - English
During the months of July, August and September, XXX Alcochete is offering free daily transport to all Lisbon city tourists, who wish to shop at the biggest outlet in Europe.
XXX’s Free Shuttle has scheduled four daily trips between Marquês de Pombal (Lisbon) and XXX (Alcochete). This initiative is part of XXX’s recent marketing campaign focused on tourism.
Information about this free service will be available at, amongst others, hotels and tourism information centres.
XXX Alcochete endeavours to provide their visitors new experiences with this initiative, for instance the crossing of one of the most beautiful bridges in Europe; the Vasco da Gama Bridge. |
