Bio
Thank you for checking out my profile!

My name is Juan F. Aggio and I am an Argentine citizen living in the USA as a permanent resident. (I spent several years in Tennessee as a child, and that's how I learnt English).

I earned a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) and a PhD in Physiology from the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil).

While working as a Postdoc in Atlanta, GA I earned Georgia State University's Translation Certificates in Spanish -> English and English -> Spanish. Having lived (and written a PhD dissertation!) in Portuguese, I can also translate from that language to English and Spanish. Unfortunately, it is a bit rusty now so I do not translate into Portuguese.

Given my background, it should come as no surprise that I specialize in scientific translations in general and medical ones in particular.

Please see my CV for further details, including some of my scientific publications.

Best,
Juan F. Aggio
