Source text - English Apparently, the shorter spacer was installed during the overhaul. As a result, the bearing inner rings were not properly axially clamped and able to move on their shaft seat towards the outboard side, which increased shaft bending. Also the outer rings were not properly positioned in the axle box housing, leading to axial contact in the labyrinth seals. This resulted in high frictional heat, bearing seizure, shaft fracture and derailment.

I'm a mechanical engineering PhD student at Istanbul Technical University. As a native Turkish speaker, I have 5 years of professional English-to-Turkish translation experience.
I regularly get translation jobs from SKF Turkey that involve technical product brochures, user manuals, product catalogues, technical and non-technical training documents, online courses, certification tests, MSDS documents, legal documents, magazine articles, etc.
I have turned down just a single translation task from SKF in 5 years due to unavailability, among dozens of completed jobs.
I have experience in translating websites involving various subjects, an example of which is the Turkish translation of EFB-Elektronik (German networking and security technology manufacturer and system provider) website using typo3 software. I also have experience with SDL Trados.
All of my translations include at least one complete step of proofreading. I have improved my writing skills by co-writing a biography and philosophical review book called "Olumsuz Ozan Ilhan Irem" and working as an anonymous editor in a historical research book project of a friend.
