لقد سجلت فعاليات الكورنيش التي تقام في اليوم الأول من الاحتفالات حضور أكثر من 100 ألف فرد من المواطنين والمقيمين ومن زوار الدوحة. حيث تضمنت (استعراض المراكب التقليدية ، عروض الالعاب النارية، عرض الاضاءة).
فعاليات درب الساعي:
في موقع يشرف على دوار الرياضة، وعلى مساحة شاسعة ازدحم مخيم درب الساعي بالزائرين بما يقارب 50 ألف فرد على مدى ايام الاحتفالات للعام الماضي، وقد اقيمت فعاليات متعددة ومتنوعة مستوحاة من روح التراث الوطني لشعب قطر بعاداته و تقاليده الأصيلة التي تختصر ملامح هويته الوطنية. وقد تضمنت ( المقطر - العزبة- الفريج – سوق واقف – الشقب – المسحبية – النصع – الحفيز – المقلط – حوش اليهال).

Translation - Arabic Qatar National Day
On 18th of December of each year, the government and people of Qatar celebrate anniversary of the the most important occasion in the history of the state. on that day, the crowds flow to arenas and places of celebrations to express their feelings of belonging and loyalty to the land, flag and the country's leadership, and renew the covenant of gratitude and loyalty to those who have contributed to writing the history of Qatar and its leadership, towards unity and the establishment of the state and its modern renaissance.

National Day Events
Previous celebrations, which expressed solidarity, loyalty, pride of the national identity the years witnessed remarkable variety and increase and expansion in the cultural and educational , promotional and recreational activities worthy of the occasion.
Corniche Events:
Doha Corniche events , which are held on the first day of the celebrations, were attended by more than 100,000 of citizens, residents and visitors to Doha, these events included Dhows exhibition, fireworks and lighting shows.
Darb El-Saai Events
At a site overseeing the sports roundabout , and over a wide area, Darb El-Saai was crowded with nearly 50 thousands visitors, over the days of celebrations for the past year. There, many and varied events were held , which were inspired by the spirit of the national heritage of the Qatari people's inherent customs and traditions that summarize the features of its national identity .The events included (Al- Moqattar , Al-Ezba , Al-Fareej , Souq Waqif, Al-Shaqab , Al-Mas'habyia , Al-Nasa', Al-Hafeez , Al-Maqlat , Housh Al-yahal)

التعريف بالقناة
قناة الريان : قناة فضائية منوعة، تستهدف المجتمع القطري كجمهور أساس، وتراعي خصوصية هويته الوطنية وتطلعاته، وتهدف الى :
• العمل على تنميته المجتمع وتوعية جميع فئاته.
• الترويج لقيم الفضيلة وأصالة التراث القطري وتنميته.
• دعم التواصل الاجتماعي، واذكاء روح التنافس الايجابي والتفكير الابداعي، بين فئة الشباب بشكل خاص وعموم شرائح المجتمع بشكل عام .
• تقديم كل ما هو مفيد ونافع، ضمن إطار عام، يوازن ويجمع بين الترفيه والفائدة، باستخدام احدث تقنيات الانتاج والبث.
أولاً: المنطلقات
رسالة القناة : المساهـمة في نهضة قطر، من خلال تنمية الهوية الوطنية وتكريسها، اعتزازاً بالارض والتاريخ والانتماء الى القيم الأصيلة .

1- اعتماد المبادرات الابداعية منطلقاً أساسياً، ومنهجاً: للتفكير، والتخطيط، وعرض الأفكار البرامجية .
2- خلق بيئة عمل إبداعية يسودها احترام الأراء ومعايير الشفافية وموجبات العمل تحت مظلة الفريق الواحد .

ثانياً: سياسة التحرير
هي السياسة التي تحدد القواعد التحريرية الخاصة بالقناة فيما يتعلق بالمواقف من الجهات، والاشخاص، والحالات ومسمياتها المستخدمة خلال سياقات الحوار والردود والمناقشة.
1-التراث الشعبي والثقافي والمحافظة عليه واحترامه مسؤولية أخلاقية، والتعامل مع مواضيعه ينبغي أن يكون وفق منظور ابداعي يحث على تنميته، باعتباره جزءً لايتجزأ من التنمية المستدامة، وارثاً وطنياً يجب المحافظة عليه و نقله للأجيال القادمة بامانة ،
2-تناول كل ما هو ايجابي في المجتمع، وطرحه الى واجهة النقاش، ورصد السلبيات التي تعوق طريق التنمية بنية تلافيها وتجاوزها، عبر نقد ايجابي بناء من غير تجريح ولا تعريض أو نقد شخصي سواء للمؤسسات والأفراد، وبلغة موضوعية بعيداً عن الإبهار والتشويق واثارة الجدل غير النافع.
3-البعد عن تناول كل ما يجرح أو يخدش اللحمة الوطنية تصريحاً وتلميحا، واغلاق الباب أمام كل محاولة تريد فتح باب النعرات والتعصب الديني والقبلي .
4- اهتمامنا الأول هو قطر و تنمية المجتمع، وتكريس اللحمة والهوية الوطنية هي هدفنا الأكبر، عبر اشاعة روح التسامح و المحبة و التفاؤل بالمستقبل. وكل ما يجري خارج مجتمع قطر، هي أمور خارج دائرة اهتماماتنا و تعنينا فقط من باب الأخوة وصلة الدم والعمومة وضرورات التواصل بين المجتمعات والشعوب.
ثالثاً: خصائص النصوص ولغة الخطاب والحوار:
هي مجموعة المعايير التي تبرز مهنية القناة، واحترافية العاملين فيها، وتجسد الحرص على تحقيق أعلى مستويات الفهم لدى الجمهور، و التي يجب مراعاتها عند كتابة النصوص و قراءة التعليق أو التعبير الارتجالي أثناء الحوار والنقاش والجدل خلال البرامج الحية أو المسجلة، كجزء من ضرورات إحترام الجمهور وانشغالاته الذهنية .
1- اختصار العبارة : حذف الكلمات و العبارات الزائدة (غير المبررة) والابتعاد عن التكرار والاسهاب و التأكيد والاسترسال على حساب وقت البث، مع مراعاة أن لا يكون الاختصار على حساب المعنى العام.
3- وضوح المعنى: استخدام العبارات والألفاظ التي توضح المقصود، وأن تتضمن العبارة المعنى المطلوب دون زيادة أو نقصان. بما يحترم قيمة البث، و يريح المشاهد من عناء البحث والتفكير عن المعنى المقصود.
4- بساطة اللغة: استخدام ما يعرف في عرف التلفزيون بــ (اللغة البيضاء) وهي المزيج الحضاري بين العامية القطرية واللغة الفصحى السهلة الفهم بتعبيرات يفهمها الجميع.
5- سلامة النحو : تحري قواعد النحو في النص المقروء و المكتوب في البرامج التي تقدم باللغة الفصحى.
6- الالتزام بالحس الثقافي الراقي، والهدوء والاتزان عند التعبير عن الرأي من دون تعصب ، والالتزام بثوابت الخلق الرفيع والنضج الانفعالي عند الرد على الرأي الأخر .
رابعاً: خصائص المادة البصرية والسمعية :
هي مجموعة الشروط التي تتعلق بعناصر الصورة المشاهدة ( البصرية – السمعية) و يندرج تحتها كل صورة ثابتة أو مقطع فيديوي أو مؤثر صوتي أو موسيقى أو تصميم فني ابداعي (Graphic ) وتطبق نفس المحددات على الاعلانات المدفوعة الأجر ، وجميعها تندرج تحت الشروط التالية:
1- عدم الاهتمام بالعناصر البصرية الفنية، على حساب المعنى الأساسي الذي يراد ايصاله للمشاهد، حتى وإن كانت قيمته الفنية عالية، فالواجب أن تكون هذه العناصر دائما في خدمة المعنى لا متعارضة معه.
2- عدم استخدام عناصر بصرية تتعارض مضامينها مع المعنى الأساسي.
3- عدم استخدام عناصر بصرية تشغل ذهن المشاهد عن المعنى الأساسي كالديكور، والألوان، والاضاءة ،والبهرجة المبالغ فيها، مالم تكن مقصودة بذاتها لخدمة المعنى والدلالة عليه.
4- عدم الاكثار من العناصر البصرية الفنية المتحركة خلف المذيعين والضيوف لكي لا يشتت ذهن المشاهد.
5- عدم المبالغة في الأزياء والمكياج وكل ما يشكل تحديا لقيم الهوية الوطنية واعراف المجتمع ، إضافة الى ما تشكله هذه المبالغة من تشتيت ذهن المشاهد عن المعنى الأساسي، الإ في بعض الحالات الخاصة التي تقتضيها البرامج الفكاهية المنوعة والبرامج الموجهة للأطفال.
6-عدم الاكثار من الموسيقية الاجنبية كمؤثر صوتي والتركيز قد الامكان على الموسيقى المحلية والخليجية والعربية.
خامساًً: التعبير والمظهر العام والمشاهد المحظورة .
هي العناصر التي تضمن احترام الذوق العام والقيم التربوية و الأخلاقية والدينية و سمات الثقافه المحلية ، في كل ما ينتج ويعرض ويبث على شاشة القناة وتشمل :
1- اللغة والأسلوب : التفكير وعدم التسرع في النطق واختيار أدق وارقى التعابير، والاعتذار عن الخطأ باعتباره حقاً من حقوق المشاهد الواجب احترامها .
2- المرأة والاحتشام : استبعاد كل صورة أو مشهد أو تعبير لفظي يسيء أو ينتقص من كرامة و مكانة المرأة وانسانية أو يقلل من احترامها، و حذف كل ما يخدش الحياء أو يتعارض مع الضوابط الشرعية و منظومة الأعراف السائدة في المجتمع و يتنافى مع الذوق العام للمجتمع القطري ،
3- مشاهد العنف والدماء و الرعب : استبعاد كل المشاهد التي تظهر العنف المبالغ فيه ، الا في حالة استخدامها في التقارير للدلالة على أشكالها أو أنماطها بقصد بيان أضرارها وضرورات التحذير من انعكاساتها من باب التوعية .
5- الشعوذة والخرافات : لا يجوز اظهارها على الشاشة الا بقصد التعريف باشكالها وأدواتها وطرقها و تفسيرها من منطلق كشفها والتحذير منها .
7- المغامرة : التأكيد دائما وبعد كل مشهد يتضمن نوعا من المغامرة ، على أهـمية التوعية بالمخاطر وأخذ إحتياطات السلامة، مع ضرورة العودة للادارة في حال تعلق المغامرة بالأطفال والقصر خشية التقليد .
Translation - English About the Channel
Al Rayyan TV Channel is a satellite variety channel , targeting basically the Qatari society as its audience, and takes into account its unique national identity and aspirations, and aims to:
• Work on the development of society and educating all its people .
• promote the values of virtue and the authenticity of the Qatari heritage and its development .

Channel vision: to be the most popular TV channel to the people of Qatar, and the local partner of community in supporting and achievement of sustainable development within the goals of the Qatar National Vision(2030).

Strategic Goals of the Channel
Contribute effectively to support the achievement of Qatar National Vision (2030) and keep up with the progress achieved so far through the induction and follow-up of development achievements and perspectives, and its adaptation within television forms and treatments, which highlights an achievement and criticize positively whatever obstacles, delay or hinder the realization of the vision, positive criticism in terms of optimism and encouraging achievement. This will be implemented through:
1 - Work to establish the concept of the Qatari national identity that cherishes the past and authenticity of habits, and keep pace with the present, and peoples race towards progress and modernization, in all that does not conflict with the values of community and identity.
2 - Contribute to the consolidation of the concept of sustainable development, in all aspects of development, and promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and community partnership.
3 - Provide a variety of programs that show interest in Qatari culture and aspirations of the Qatari society, and respect: singularity of its dialect , customs and traditions.
4 - Contribute to the awareness raising and informing of the imperatives of national solidarity and social communication and and familiarity.
5 - Highlight the Qatari talents, and promote them through the channel, based on objective artistic criteria and creative value.
To achieve the strategic objectives of the channel, we have to adopt the following premises:
1 - Adoption of creative initiatives as a key platform, and approach: , to thinking, planning, and program ideas.
2 - Building a creative work environment, where respect, transparency and team work obligations prevail.
3 - Seeking to build a real interactive media partnership with all of society members and its institutions.
4 - Thinking positively, and aspiring viewers of methods of positive thinking , in their attitudes and planning for the future.
5 - Linking the promotions and bonus system with the achievement of the vision, mission and objectives of the channel with workers efforts, and the degree of compliance of the channel directives, and its working contexts , and the extent of the positive attitude and discipline in implementing the directives of the channel management, policy and orientations consciously and in-depth understanding.
2. Editorial Policy
The Editorial policy determines the editorial rules of the channel in terms of positions from the parties, and people, and situations and denominations used during the interviews, responses and discussion contexts.
1 - Preservation and respect of folklore and cultural tradition is a moral responsibility. And dealing with its themes should be done according to a creative perspective that urges its development , as an integral part of the sustainable development. National heritage must be preserved and faithfully transferred to future generations.
2 - Discussing with positive issues in the community, and monitoring the negative issues that hinder the development path, in order to avoid and overcome them. This is done through positive criticism, without offending or insinuation or personal criticism, neither for institutions or individuals. Objective language should always be used, away from dazzling and excitement, or raising unprofitable controversy .
3 - Avoid addressing what hurts or do harm to the national cohesion, whether explicitly or implicitly, and block any attempt to raise prejudices, or religious or tribal intolerance.
4 - Our primary concern is Qatar and the development of Qatari society. Devoting cohesion and national identity is our ultimate goal, through spreading the spirit of tolerance, love and optimism for the future.We are not concerned with whatever happens outside the community of Qatar, except as being a matter of brotherhood and consanguinity, and the necessities of communication between communities and peoples.
3. characteristics of scripts ,discourse and dialogue:
They are the set of criteria that highlights the professionalism of the channel, and its staff, and reflects the efoorts to achieve the highest levels of understanding among the public, that must be considered when writing scripts and reading comments or improvised talks during the interviews and discussions during the live or recorded programs, as part of the necessities of respecting of the public and its concerns.
1 - Concise phrases : omitthe redundant words and phrases(unnecessary) And avoid repetition , dwell , stress and getting carried away, at the expense of broadcast time, bearing in mind that briefing should not be at the expense of the meaning in general
3 - Clarity of meaning: use phrases and words that explain the meaning. Any phrase should exactly express the required meaning, which respects the value of the broadcast, and relaxes the viewer from the trouble of gussing and thinking of the intended meaning.
4 - Simplicity of language: the use of what is known in the TV terminology as white language, i.e a cultural mixture between Qatari slang and classical language, using easy-to-understand terms.
5 - Correctness of Arabic Language grammar: Abide by the rules in the read and written scripts in programs that are presented in classical Arabic.
6 - Commitment to high cultural sense, calmness and poise in expression, without intolerance. and the commitment to high morality and emotional maturity when responding to the other opinions.
4. The properties of audio-visual material :
These are the set of conditions that relate to the elements of the picture seen (audio-Visual) including each still image, video clip, sound effect , music or creative graphic design. These parameters are also applied to commercials, all of which fall under the following conditions:
1 – Consider the visual artistic elements, at the expense of the basic meaning of which is intended to be conveyed to the viewer, even if it contains high artistic value. These elements should always serve meaning, not to be in conflict with it.
2 – Avoid visual elements contents that are incompatible with the basic meaning.
3 - Avert visual elements, like decor, colors, lighting and exaggeration which distract the audience from the basic meaning, unless they were deliberately intended to highlight meaning and significance.
4 - No Excessive use of animated visual art elements behind the presenters and guests in order not to distract the viewer's mind.
5 - No exaggeration in fashion and make-up and all elements that constitutes a challenge to the values of national identity and customs of the community, in addition to this what this exaggeration poses of distracting the viewer's mind from the basic meaning, except in certain special cases, in which these elements are required for variety comic programs and programs for children.
6 - No excessive use of foreign music as sound effects, while focusing on Qatari , Gulf and Arab music.
5- Expression and overall appearance and banned scenes
Expression and overall appearance and banned scenes are the elements that ensure respect for the public taste and the educational, moral and religious values and features of the domestic culture, in all productions and broadcasts on the channel. They include:
1 - Language and style: civility and choosing the most accurate words and phrases , and apologizing for errors if any, as a viewer's right that must be respected.
2 - Women and Modesty: the exclusion of any pictures or scenes or verbal expressions that abuses or detract from the dignity and status of women, their humanity or reduces their respect. and omitting all what rack the modesty of women, or inconsistent with Shari'a and norms prevailing in the society and is incompatible with the public taste of the Qatari society.
3 - Scenes of violence, blood and horror: the exclusion of all the scenes that shows exaggerated violence, unless used in the reports to indicate its forms or patterns in order to inform of their harm, and the necessity of warning of their effects as part of building awareness.
5 - Witchcraft and superstition: may not be shown on screen, except with a view of defining their forms, tools and methods, and to be interpreted in terms of detection and warning.
7 – Adventure: the continuous emphasize after every scene that includes some sort of adventure on the importance of awareness of the risks and taking safety precautions, with the need to return to the management in the event of any adventure attached to children and minors for fear of imitation.
