For an understanding of the significant factors that influenced our financial performance in fiscal 2020 compared with fiscal 2019, the following discussion should be read in conjunction with the consolidated financial statements and related notes presented under Item 8 in this Annual Report on Form 10-K ($ in millions, except per share amounts).
Fiscal 2020 Compared to Fiscal 2019
Consolidated net sales for fiscal 2020 were $589.8 million, a decrease of 21.0% compared with the same prior year period. Net sales decreased by 23.5% within the wholesale segment and by 21.5% in the retail segment. International sales decreased $17.0 million primarily related to lower sales to China and in Canada. Consolidated net sales were 21.0% lower in the current year primarily due to the disruptions in the market caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and lower written orders when a new marketing program featuring a membership was just getting underway.

Source text - English REPAIRING
COLLAPSED SYSTEMS
One of the most common problems with neglected records systems is that they are crammed with files that are not required on a daily basis. In personnel records systems, these files may relate to individuals who have been transferred to another department or to an executive agency or privatised organisation as well as to staff who have died, resigned, retired or been retrenched. In such overcrowded storage conditions, it is almost impossible to provide the information ministries need. These collapsed systems need to be repaired.
One of the first and most significant steps in repairing these systems is to identify and physically remove those files that have not been used for a designated period, such as ten years or fifteen years. As these files will still be needed for calculating pensions or entitlements, they should be systemically transferred to secure, low-cost storage. This process is known as ‘decongesting’ records systems.
Once the files have been transferred to a records centre, it will be necessary to create a finding aid capable of bringing together all files relating to a given individual. A number of options are available, including creating a large card index, developing a computerised database using customised software or inputting information into an ‘off the shelf’ or commercial database programme.
One approach to decongestion is described below. This approach works best in instances where it has been decided that the master file will be held by the employing ministry and where the payroll or some other definitive list of staff can be used to identify who works for each ministry. A considerable amount of analysis of the government’s precise requirements would need to be undertaken before this method could be introduced.
English to Indonesian: The Internet and Languages [around the year 2000] by Marie Lebert General field: Tech/Engineering Detailed field: IT (Information Technology)
Source text - English At first, the internet was nearly 100% English. A network was set up by the Pentagon in 1969, before spreading to U.S. governmental agencies and universities from 1974 onwards, after Vinton Cerf and Bob Kahn invented TCP/IP (transmission control protocol / internet protocol). After the creation of the World Wide Web in 1989-90 by Tim Berners-Lee at the European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland, and the distribution of the first browser Mosaic, the ancestor of Netscape, from November 1993 onwards, the internet really took off, first in the U.S. and Canada, then worldwide.
Why did the internet spread in North America first? The U.S. and Canada were leading the way in computer science and communication technology, and a connection to the internet, mainly through a phone line at the time, was much cheaper than in most countries. In Europe, avid internet users needed to navigate the web at night, when phone rates by the minute were cheaper, to cut their expenses. In 1998, some French, Italian and German users were so fed up with the high rates that they launched a movement to boycott the internet one day per week, for internet providers and phone companies to set up a special monthly rate for them. This paid off, and providers began to offer monthly "internet rates".
In the 1990s, the percentage of English decreased from nearly 100% to 80%. People from all over the world began to have access to the internet, and to post more and more webpages in their own languages.

Source text - English Was it strange to think of the dead as friends?
Perhaps, but a part of her did. She visited the cemetery at least once a week, which meant she saw more of the people lying here than the handful of living friends she had. She ticked them off as she walked. Here was the grave that was always well attended by fresh flowers. There, the one with the old, empty whiskey bottle balanced against the stone. And then the plot covered with stuffed toys: a child’s grave, that one, Amanda guessed, the presents left by grieving parents who couldn’t quite allow their child to leave them yet.
And then, around a final corner, her father’s grave.
She stopped and pushed her hands into the pockets of her coat. The plot was marked by a rectangular stone, broad and strong, the way she remembered her father from growing up. There was something pleasingly implacable in the simplicity of it—the way there was just his name and a pair of dates that bookmarked his life. No fuss, exactly the way he would have wanted. Her father had been loving and caring at home, but his life had been spent on the force, where he had done his duty and left his work in the office at the end of the day. It had felt right to reflect that aspect of his character in her choice of headstone. She had found something that did the job required of it—and did it well—but kept emotion separate.
Translation - Indonesian Apakah aneh jika menganggap orang-orang mati sebagai teman?
Barangkali begitu, tetapi sebagian dirinya menganggap mereka demikian.
