I was born and raised in Seoul, S. Korea until I was 13. Then, I moved to the United States in 2013 and I’m still residing in this country. Therefore, I could acquire fluent language skills in both Korean and English. I could linguistically improve my language ability by teaching English and Korean. Furthermore, my proficiency in language gave me an opportunity to work for companies and embark on mission works as an interpreter and translator. For instance, I worked for an IT company, conducting interpretation and translation tasks. Also, I was assigned as an interpreter for ROK-US Combined Forces Command(CFC), promoting my interpretation and translation skills to a professional level. My contribution to CFC allowed me to join a peacekeeping operation in south Sudan under the UN as an interpreter. Which shaped me into a seasoned and formidable interpreter or translator.
