I am a science graduate -B.Sc.(Chemistry), with post-graduation in Mgmt. i.e. M.B.A. Also did M.A. and Ph.D.in Russian. I am a 'Asst. Professor in Russian' working here at the University. My mother tongue is Marathi - the language of Maharashtra State, India.

Have already translated & published Russian/Soviet literature:a no. of short stories, short novels from Russian into Marathi. Have also done technical translations for the Industry from English into Russian & vice versa. I frequently write articles for the local newspapers on Russia, Rusian life & culture. I love to work in the language field. I feel that the thorough knowledge of more than one languages is essential in todays life. The knowledge of at least one foreign language will widen the peoples vision.
