The school is in need of significant improvement. This judgement reflects the school’s position judged against international standards. When judged against similar Abu Dhabi schools it has a number of strengths, including the progress being made in Arabic and Islamic education and by girls generally. The principal and staff have successfully improved student’s behaviour and the overall quality of teaching. The school is well supported by its proprietor. To make the progress towards world-class provision, which the Emirate of Abu Dhabi requires of all of its schools, this school must continue and extend its drive to develop the skills and standards that students need to be successful in the modern world. For this reason, this report recognises the developments that the school principal and teachers have achieved. The report also gives clear recommendations on what more needs to be done to take the school forward.

Children begin school with a broad range of basic skills and experiences, similar to those found in many schools in Abu Dhabi. By the time they leave the school, students’ overall attainment is below international standards and varies between boys and girls significantly. The attainment of girls is at least in line with standards nationally and is beginning to approach average international standards. While boys’ attainment as a whole is improving, that of the oldest boys is below international standards because they are not making the progress of which they are capable. No international benchmarking scores are available at any level in the school and assessment data is limited to internal examinations.
Translation - Arabic مستوى تحصيل وتقدم الطلبة
يبدأ الطلبة الدراسة بمجموعة واسعة من المهارات والخبرات الأساسية، كما هو الحال في العديد من المدارس الموجودة في إمارة أبوظبي. وعند انتهاء الدراسة، يشهد التحصيل العام للطلبة تدنياً إلى مستوى أقل عن المعايير الدولية ويتفاوت ذلك بين الذكور والإناث على نحوٍ كبير. فمن ناحية يتماشى مستوى تحصيل الإناث على الأقل مع المعايير الوطنية ويقترب من الوصول إلى مستوى المعايير الدولية، بينما مستوى تحصيل الذكور آخذ في التحسن بشكلٍ عام، ذلك أن مستوى تحصيل الطلبة الذكور الأقدم يأتي دون مستوى المعايير الدولية نظراً لأنهم لا يبذلون الجهد المطلوب لتحقيق التقدم رغم قدرتهم على ذلك. لا توجد نقاط قياس لإجراء مقارنة معيارية على المستوى الدولي في أي مستوى بالمدرسة وتقتصر بيانات التقييم على الاختبارات الداخلية التي يتم إجراؤها لهذا الغرض.
