Hi,
I wuld liek to know how to render Italian stressed character in omegaT. The simple ALT + number shortcut doesn't seem to work.
Please help.

There are only two ways I know of: copy and paste from the line of source text, or make a little text file for yourself with the accented letters and any other characters that are not accessible to you, keep it handy on your desktop, and copy/paste from there. The first option is preferable to me.

Can you change your keyboard layout to "US International"?

Susan, eventually I got to your same solution, finding this very useful website:

Samuel, I have a windows system and yes It is already set to US International, I also managed to add Italian in the language list but somehow doesn't seem to work.

You should use Int'l English keyboard layout with dead keys. Then, you type Latin stressed vowels with Alt Gr + the respective vowel.
