I am a qualified translator and interpreter with 14 years' experience in both fields. In 2009, I completed a 4-year MA Integrated Degree in Translation and Interpreting at the University of Granada (Spain). My qualification has been placed within level 3 (Máster) of the Spanish Higher Education Qualifications Framework (MECES) and level 7 (MA), of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). 

My professional experience includes language tuition (Spanish and English), Public Service interpreting, sight and document translation, transcription, subtitling and project management.

As a Public Service interpreter I've worked for some major companies in the industry, delivering over 1,000 interpreted hours mainly in healthcare-medical settings (NHS), but also in Tribunals (MoJ) and Social Services across the UK.

Regarding document translation, my fields of expertise are Health Care/Medical, Travel & Tourism, Health & Wellness, Chronic Pain & Mind-Body Therapies and Films/Entertainment. 

Since 2017, I added subtitling services to my specialisations. Thanks to a keen interest in cinema and TV, I've developed professionally in the audivisual field, having subtitled over 5,000 minutes of audio. I've translated and proofread a wide number of TV series (I'm specialised in K-Dramas), films and reality shows for some of the most well-known VOD platforms. 

In terms of memberships and associations, I am proud to be a professional member of CIOL (MCIL), a ProZ Professional Member and a Certified PRO.
