Over 40 people crammed the rooms at the Brisbane Multicultural Centre to listen to Susanne Creak present the AUSIT endorsed paper on Benchmarks for the Translation of Official Documents.
After the general presentation, colleagues broke up for coffee and bikkies and networked. Then all went back again for a discussion about potential improvements to the document, especially in languages not written in Latin letters. The discussion ran for an hour, well over the time we thought we would need.
Organisers are very happy with the turn around and look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
