Unsere Tipps gegen Gute-Laune-Diebe

party poopers
This would work for the UK and does not solely refer to parties, BTW. No idea if it would travel though.

Party-poopers Nicolas Sarkozy and Angela Merkel have a good caseIt may have been Jamie Oliver's food, but the G20 leaders managed to get through dinner last night without a walk-out by a disgruntled President Nicolas Sarkozy. And, if the PM's confidence is any guide, the summit is still expected to reach its conclusion today without a temper tantrum.

Perhaps it does travel:
We're sooo glad "The Secret Life of The American Teenager " is back. And now here's a juicy sneak peek at what's happening on the next episode. So watch it, tell us what you think, and let your friends know they can see it too.
It's Amy and Ben's wedding reception, and everyone's having an awesome time. Except Ashley, of course. But she's not the real party pooper. Who invited those old dudes?

Interesting to find this UK example of the concept of "thieves" and stealing used in the context of personal development or self-help, etc.:
