Japanese term

メジャーな商品

Japanese to English Bus/Financial Marketing / Market Research Food
Does anyone have a good alternative to "major," which sounds awkward in this context, or "mainstream"? Do you think "big-name" or "popular" would work?

Thanks!

I like "popular", but you can probably do "top selling" too.

"Top Selling" gives more sales oriented positioning.

popular product

Please note this does not mean major! My Japanese wife just confirmed that is means "popular".

blockbuster product

How about "blockbuster product"? If you search the web, you'll see this as a common term for a product that has done exceedingly well in the marketplace.

key products

It depends on the rest of your sentence but
the definition of major is: important, key, significant

I have often heard the expression "key products" in marketing. These are the important products (eg. important products in their line-up, or products that bring in the high profits, products that the company wishes to push at the time, etc.)
Example sentence:

Sell four key products for hunters' success
