Pour des questions de temps de réalisation

French to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters football
Pour des questions de temps de réalisation, cette recherche a dû être menée sur un échantillon de joueurs dont le commun dénominateur était la présence dans l’une des ligues du « big-5 » pendant la saison 2005/06

Can anyone help out with an elegant rendition of that first clause? Thanks!

agree Krista Leitzke : I agree with Travelin Ann that "Due to time constraints" is also a nice option. Either way, "because/due to time constraints" is the best choice stylistically.

Due to the time in which it has to be done/carried out

Being pushed for time....

Depends on the register. If for a magazine this might work. If for a learned article, eyebrows might rise.

agree John Detre : // Well, actually, having seen Asker's other questions, this probably is not the right register in this case, but still a good answer...

Thank you. Of course I have no idea what kind of article it is, so this may, or may not, be the right register!

Due to time completion issues

Hello,

You can be more literal here, I suppose. Sure, "due to time issues" does seem to imply "time completion issues", though.

I hope this helps.

The research sample couldn't be as large as they would have liked due to time completion issues (carrying out research on a larger sample).

Disregard what I said about the "research sampling."
