Italian term
scuroni
Italian to English
Tech/Engineering
Architecture
per montaggio cardini e guide di persiane e scuroni
Not found in any of about 20 dictionaries. Google images shows shutters, which appear to be identical to Persiane. I was thinking of "black out something or other" but can't find any synonym for shutters either.
Any good ideas most welcome.

shutters
This is probably just another word for the same thing. I find that Italian often has more possibilities for using different words for the same thing than English, so there is probably not really a difference.

blinds
I'm thinking this because they have guides, so they must be rolling/sliding as opposed to hinged
Discussion
scuroni have no slats (full panel to block the light out)
hope this helps :-)
