Gracias de antemano por su ayuda.

The xxx community is growing at an incredible rate, and that is only accelerating with the release of the free for all to use xxx! It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to not only learn more about the tool but also meet members of the community and find out what's going on elsewhere in the community. Suffice it to say the event was once again smashing success and we look forward to seeing you all again next year!

el lanzamiento del xxx, que puede usar todo el mundo sin costo

O simplemente, (d)el lanzamiento del xxx, accesible a todos sin costo.

la liberación de la herramienta XXX sin costo, el lanzamiento de la versión gratis de XXX, SEE MORE!

Hello Lida,

Here you want that we guess like in the crosswords the “word” that is missing.

The textual translation from English to Spanish of the expression “the release of the free” is “la liberación del libre/los libres”. But this is not really, the translation that you need.

In the context you talk about “tools”, probably “software tools” like the “free backup tools” or the “free antivirus” or the “free engine machine” (like Google search machine, or Microsoft Bing or Yahoo…).

You also talk about a community, the community of XXX, probably the community of users of this free tool.

For example, Google or Microsoft periodically “release” new “free” versions of their search engines and they promote these “free” tools across a international community of users.

The English term “release” has two different grammatical functions: noun and verb.
In your context, “release” as verb is “liberar una herramienta de software”.
Also in your context, “release” as a noun is:
- “liberación”,
-“lanzamiento”
-“despacho”,
- “puesta en el mercado”
- “puesta a disposición de los usuarios”…

In your context, the term “free” is not “libre” (de la libertad). It iss “gratis”, “sin costo”, “de libre uso a nivel de usuario final”, (without cost of use in the level of end user). (VERY IMPORTANT! This doesn't imply that is the free use for commercial activities. For example, Adobe has PDF software that is only free to use as an user but if you want to use for commercial activities, you have to pay special free. Also sometimes, the free version is only available for special markets, for students, for universities.... My suggestion is not use free as free for everybody everywhere).

For this reason, the translation of “the release of the free” is:

- “la liberación de la herramienta XXX sin costo”
- “el lanzamiento de la herramienta XXX sin costo”
- “el lanzamiento de la versión gratis de la herramienta XXX”
- “el lanzamiento de la versión gratis de XXX”
- “la liberación de software XXX sin costo”
- “el lanzamiento del software XXX gratis”
- “el lanzamiento de la versión gratis del software XXX”

I hope this analysis helps you in your work.

Regards

Domingo

Reference:

free for all to use

is a single adjective of XXX. To understand better, it is syntactically equivalent to "the release of the no-cost XXX" , "the release of the publicly-usable XXX", etc.
