次に試験片の入った臭袋を８０±２℃で調整された空気循環式恒温槽に１時間加熱後取出し、室温で放冷し、原臭を作成する。

It looks a conventional odor test. Nitrogen is an odorless gas. The test might be performed by varying that ratio.

Dilute the test sample with nitrogen 14:1.
FWIW, N2 is a gas at room temperature (all temperatures above -195.79 °C, in fact), so faithfully reproducing the Japanese author's 窒素ガス suggests lack of background knowledge, cynical word count padding, or both.
